Rambutan
This is a rambutan. It is a yummy fruit, but it looks very strange on the outside, like a hairy red ball. One is open, and sitting on my sister's cookie.
Hi Lila! It tastes like a lychee if you've ever had those (Ella's Dad: you can get them at West Coast Grocery on Guide Meridian--fresh or canned). It is very sweet and slippery. You open them by poking your fingernail through the skin and pulling them apart. ~Ella~
