I know that Mr. Anderson's class started a new unit of inquiry on poetry so I decided to write a few poems of my own:

Hope for an antelope 

Hope is a thing for an antelope

To have when roaming the plain

In case that a lion

Will sneak up behind him

And roar and shake

His big tangled mane

Crazy

Crazy is a wild thing,

Dancing around,

it starts to sing:

"You say rye, I say ring

As I swim around

 My big pudding!"

Surprise

I might yell, 

And I might scream,

And I might start to laugh,

But anyway, I'll be surprised

When you show me

So TELL me now!
